Twice named to the San Diego Business Journal’s Book of 500 Influential Business Leaders, Dave Duval has been the Principal of Claiborne Advisors, Inc. since 2000 and is one of southern California’s most connected advisors in the mergers and acquisitions sector.

Dave grew up in the original “Your word is your bond” culture of Wall Street, and brings all of that approach and practice to each client and every engagement. Sharing his knowledge with warmth and candor, Dave delivers an extensive range of experience to every engagement.

An alumnus of Phillips Exeter Academy and Princeton University, Dave started competitive rowing in 9th grade and continues to this day. He has twice placed in the top 10 in his age group in the world indoor rowing championships.

In addition to being a pilot and long-term member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association, his background includes being an institutional floor broker on the New York Stock Exchange; venture investment researcher; and real estate developer.

Dave is the longest-serving sponsor of the Chairmen’s RoundTable; a current member and former board member of the Corporate Directors Forum; and an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
