Fathers Are Important For Raising Strong Men

Mothers are not birthing people and fathers are necessary. Statistics don’t lie. According to the Texas Department of Corrections, 85% of youth who are currently in prison grew up in a fatherless home. According to NPR, Children from fatherless homes are twice as likely to drop out of school before graduating.

Just look at this post that shows how important fathers are:

My son loves his father differently than he loves me. That is GREAT! Differences should be celebrated, not erased or ignored. I don’t enjoy throwing a football, so my son has a dad who loves it. I love that my son’s father is teaching him the importance of being a man and how to treat a lady. Children look up to both parents but they look up to the parent of the same sex more. This is okay. This is how men become strong leaders in most cases, they look up to and get taught by their father.

To all of the fathers out there doing a great job raising their children by doing “Dad Stuff”. You are appreciated for who you are.

“I would have done anything to have Turning Point USA when I was your age, so it really is a true honor to be here today.”

- Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany
