Racist Rotundas in Washington, D.C.

This week, the National Archives released a report which has Conservatives in Washington, D.C., and across America shaking their heads–turns out, the Rotunda in the National Archives building is now considered a form of “structural racism.”

The Rotunda is a beautiful room housing the original Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution visited by people from across the world every year–but as of this year, it symbolizes so much more than history. According to the National Archives Records Administration (NARA), the Rotunda “lauds wealthy White men in the nation’s founding while marginalizing BIPOC [Black, Indigenous and other People of Color], women, and other communities.”

The NARA’s report called for trigger warnings to be placed near the Declaration and Constitution and even staging future “dance or performance art in the space that invites a dialogue about the ways that the United States has mythologized the founding era.”

This insane propaganda is the direct result of critical race theory integrating itself into mainstream culture–no longer can we celebrate the beautiful history of the freest nation on earth, but instead, we must condemn history because of each of its faults.

Do you think the room housing the Declaration and Constitution is racist? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
